Toilet Bubble Bombs | Zero Waste

Check out my simple recipe for toilet cleaner. Just drop one bubble bomb in the toilet, let it bubble up for a while. Then a flick of your wand…SCOURGIFY!

Presto, chango a sparkling clean toilet!

Toilet Bubble Bombs

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 5 drops tea tree oil (disinfectant)
  • 5-10 drops of another essential oil for scent, if desired.
  • A SPRINKLE of water (I’m not kidding)
  • Silicone mold
  • Air tight glass storage jar (always use glass when working with essential oils)

Mix dry ingredients together really well. Add essential oil.

Sprinkle (seriously, this is your second and final warning) with water until it’s just damp and crumbly. If you form a paste- you’ll need to start over (I warned you, just saying).

To get the hold, you’ll press the mixture into your mold until it’s well compacted…like working with brown sugar. Press and compact the mixture as much as you can.

Let it harden overnight then pop them out of the mold.

My silicone mold is cube shaped and makes 15 bubble bombs with this recipe.

I store mine in a glass jar under the bathroom sink.
